| a brand new offering from ACE Society on Portland, Oregon Cable Television Channels 11 and 21: finished its first season on Sept 20th beginning its second season on Dec 27th ,2009 Don't tell Mom.. to take you to the movies, ask her to get you the book! A weekly, half hour show, where our 11 year old dramatic reader "Beth" reads the Narnia Series books to the viewer and her puppet friend ( in installments) |
Beth is currently reading to us "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe".
A dramatic reading can only work as a children's program if you have a
reader who is truly passionate about her reading ..
and that is exactly what we have..
she doesn't read the book, she lives it ...and you live it with her!
Reading classic children's literature to children gives them so much..
-rich language and imagery
-a peak into the world that the author created ; of which we have only a
shadow if the book is made into a movie
-cultural enrichment that broadens their experiences and allows them to
think differently about themselves and their world
-an opportunity to actively engage their imagination in a way that only
reading can
on Saturdays -at 4:30 on channel 11

Sunday at 8:00pm on channel 21
Thursday at 7:30pm on channel 21
